🎪 THE CLARITY REPORT
⚠️ Reader Advisory:
This report will be controversial to some. Not because it denies Scripture — but because it dares to believe it.
Before we go theological, we must go historical.
🧠 THE MIND OF SCOTT ADAMS
Scott Adams was not a preacher.
He was not a pastor.
He was not a theologian.
He was a brilliant observer of human behavior, creator of Dilbert, author, cultural commentator, and one of the most intellectually honest public thinkers of his generation.
He challenged institutions.
He questioned narratives.
He dissected persuasion.
He made millions laugh — and many think.
Adams built a career on reason, probability, pattern recognition, and truth-seeking. He was not known for faith. He was known for logic.
And that is what makes his final public message so extraordinary.
📜 THE FINAL STATEMENT
Scott Adams wrote:
“I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I look forward to spending an eternity with Him… I’m not a believer, but the risk-reward calculation for doing so looks attractive.”
To some, that sounds insufficient.
To Scripture — it sounds familiar.
✝️ THE THIEF ON THE CROSS
Luke 23:42-43:
“Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.”
No repentance speech.
No church attendance.
No baptism.
No obedience track record.
No behavioral reform.
Just belief in Christ.
🔥 THE OFFENSE OF GRACE
Adams did not:
• Ask for healing
• Ask for forgiveness publicly
• Declare submission rituals
• Promise fruit
• Demonstrate obedience
• Exhibit repentance language
And yet…
John 6:47 —
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.”
Not whoever behaves.
Not whoever repents properly.
Not whoever submits correctly.
Whoever believes.
🧮 PASCAL’S WAGER — AND GOD’S GRACE
Adams reasoned his way to Christ.
That bothers religious people.
But Scripture says:
Mark 9:24 — “I believe; help my unbelief.”
A little faith in the right object is saving faith.
Faith is not the Savior.
Christ is the Savior.
Faith is the means.
Christ is the object.
Eternal life is the result.
👑 CHRIST ALONE
Adams did not trust in:
• His works
• His morality
• His reputation
• His intellect
• His career
• His influence
He trusted Christ alone.
That is the Gospel.
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith — and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
🦁 NOW IN THE PRESENCE OF THE KING
Scott Adams now stands before:
The Lion of Judah.
The Son of God.
The Prince of Peace.
The Jewish Carpenter.
Jesus the Christ.
Not because of perfect theology —
but because of perfect grace.
🔥 THE SCANDAL OF THE CROSS
The cross has always offended religion.
It saves sinners without permission from institutions.
It opens heaven to thieves, skeptics, philosophers, and dying men who simply believe.
And it still does.
🕊️ FINAL CLARITY
Scott Adams didn’t find religion.
He found Christ.
And Christ was enough.
